George Website
Website refresh for the Asda George brand. Briefed to re-design the modular system for a new look and feel.
The Challenge
George operates on a module system, which limited the scope for additions and updates, especially given the client’s specific requests. I had to carefully balance everyone’s needs while achieving a refreshed design.
The Approach
While meeting the client’s needs was a priority, I saw an opportunity to update the design system, transforming it from a frustrating workflow into a more streamlined tool for the team. I also created wireframes to support the new module style and facilitate developer testing.
The Result
We achieved a more editorial design, thoughtfully balancing space and ensuring development testing exceeded expectations. The result was a satisfied client and an even happier design team.

The wireframes were particularly challenging due to the number of pages that needed updates and the vast amount of content the client required.
Space was a major consideration, and I approached the task like solving a jigsaw puzzle, focusing on the "bigger picture."
After exploring various perspectives, I developed a structured design that accommodated everything without feeling cramped or overwhelming.
Rebuilding the design system was an enjoyable challenge. Using Figma’s component settings, I created dropdown menus for auto layouts and designed multiple variations of components.
While it was intricate and time-consuming, the process was incredibly satisfying.
